Sunrises and sunsets here in the Rocky Mountains during the summer are painted with many colors and shades of pink and purple. I am in awe each day looking at what God as given us. He paints the sky Purple-majestic, vibrant, regal.
Genesis 9:12-13 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between Me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all future generations: (13) I have placed My bow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
Society is quick to label a person and put them in a category that they may not necessarily belong in. We don’t have agree, but we are called to love everyone regardless. Loving one another begins with loving God. John 15:12 This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. There are ones in this world who hate Jesus, hate is a label all Jesus wants is a relationship with everyone. He loves everyone!
Controversy. The news channel ran a story a few days ago that teachers and students at a college are being taught to say OUCH if someone hurts their feelings. Why do we need to be trained? I should be able to speak my mind and if I hurt your feelings, that was not my intention, accept what I say and move on. It is ok if you say something I don’t like, I will still love you.
Jesus commands us to love. 1st John 4:17– In this, love is perfected within us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, for we are as He is in this world. (18) There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love. (19) We love because He first loved us.
I don’t necessarily believe in luck, rather it is Jesus who provides and guides me each day.
His mercies are new each day.
I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit.
That God’s will be done here on earth as it is in Heaven.
Its not luck that I found Jesus, rather He knew before I was born that I would seek Him at the age of 30. To live a life with Jesus.
When a disaster strikes (massive flooding, fires, tornadoes etc) the first person to get the call out from the State Director is the Feeding Lead. Over the years I have learned how to cook massive amounts of food (15,000) and serve those meals to the community and all who may of been affected.
We must never forget that Jesus walked across the desert to witness to massive amounts of people.
Each day is a new lesson that we all learn when immerseing ourselves in the bible. An awesome book to live by, clear-cut instructions, straight forward and to the point.
Jesus has given us an awesome sunrise and sunset. Each morning and evening we look forward to the colors He chooses to paint the sky with. We are so blessed here in the Rocky Mountain with the palette’s of abstract work of art in the morning and evening skies. We appreciate all that He does for us.
Each August we look forward to eating peaches from the Western Slope. There are many nuance’s in the color of the skin that remind me of the sun rise and sun sets.
Nervous is being deployed for Disaster Relief not knowing the condition that I will encounter.
